AHEA Used Curriculum Sale

At the AHEA Convention, you will have the opportunity to sell your used curriculum, educational
materials and games at our Used Curriculum Sale (UCS). The sale will be held for one day only,
Thursday, May 29, 2025 in the Harvest Centre. Convention Registration is not required to
participate but encouraged.

The timeline for dropping off your items is Thursday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. No late drop offs
will be accepted. Items will be placed out for sale on a first come, first serve basis. As the sale is
a one day event, the time required to place items in preparation for the afternoon sale, requires
drop offs to be consistent throughout the drop off period rather than a flood of drop offs in the
last few minutes. Pick up of unsold items will be from 7:30pm-8:30pm. All items not picked up
will be assumed as donated to AHEA to give away.

Want to sell?

Register your items online, drop labeled items off at the UCS (located in the Harvest Centre), and
allow us to sell them for you. You set the prices for your own items and choose if unsold items are
to be donated, or if you would like to pick up any unsold items at the end of the convention. In
addition, if you have items that you wish to donate, these will be made available to families for
free during the sale. Please be advised there is a 25% commission charged on all items sold. The
commission will be taken off your total before your cheque is sent out after the convention is
over. Cheques may take 6-8 weeks to be mailed out.

Selling for friends?

If you are selling items for your friends, you must make them an account too, and label them
separately so that we can keep track of how much they all made. The program does not allow us
to differentiate how much each person made when selling items for friends under the same
account. Please make an account for each person who is selling items.
Required paperwork
Please print off and bring a Waiver stating that the AHEA UCS is not responsible for any lost,
stolen, or damaged items. Sign the waiver in the presence of one of our wonderful UCS
volunteers.

Want to shop?

The sales floor of the UCS will be open Thursday from 1:00p.m. – 6:00 p.m., where you will have
the opportunity to browse and shop from any number of items.

Labelling

Each item you are selling must be labelled, (Ex. In a series of books: “Book 1”, “2”, “3”, and “4” would need 8 labels, one on the outside, and one on the inside of each book). Labels sometimes get ripped and torn on the outside. When our cashiers are checking out items, they take a look at the labels to make sure that the whole set is there and not being separated from the rest of the set, being sold against the wishes of the seller. The system only prints two labels per item, so you may have to photocopy them if you want more.

Donations

There will be a separate location for books that you wish to give away for free. You can place any donations there. We will not be placing donated items in the same location as the sale items to avoid mixing up free books with the books for sale.

Want to help? Volunteer!

To make this sale happen, we need volunteers! If you are interested, please contact us atvolunteers@aheaonline.com. Volunteers will be eligible for Golden Hour shopping (pre-access tobooks) between 11:30 am and 1 pm. They can also earn volunteers discounts for Convention entrance (4 or 8 hour shifts)
